Telstra Broadband e-Lab - Launceston Broadband Project

The Telstra Broadband e-Lab team would like to thank all past and present members of the Launceston Broadband Project for your invaluable assistance.

The Launceston Broadband Project was a joint initiative of the Commonwealth Government and Telstra – each contributing $15 million over five years from 1999-2000 – providing industry development, project funding, and establishing the Broadband e-Lab research and development lab in Launceston.


		The Project is now complete. Over the years, more than 4,000 Launceston businesses and households have helped us conduct more than 30 trials of applications. This has resulted in valuable customer experience and usage information that has been used to improve applications and services prior to launch.


		The monthly rebate ends June 30th. Members are reminded that project membership, along with your special rebate of $38.50, will end when the LBP closes at the end of June. Standard monthly charges for your current plan will apply from 1 July 2006. Visit BigPond now to see current offers.
